1927年，4.12和5.21两起反革命事变发生后，革命转入低潮。农协主席邱金与敌博斗中负伤，被特派员罗大成救出。罗大成在农民运动讲习所聆听过毛泽东的教海，深知组织群众、发动群众的重要。他深入乡村，领导农民自发展开对敌斗争。中央特派员王怀志是个右倾机会主义者，他认为罗大成农运工作搞过了头，将其撤职。各地都传来解散工农武装的噩耗。紧急关头，党中央召开了“八七”会议，结束和批判了党内投降主义思潮，确立了农民运动今后的行动纲领，此时，毛泽东领导了震惊中外的秋收起义，革命火种已成燎原之势。邱金在党的正确领导下，成长起来了……。从水乡小镇来到省城发展的（朱媛媛 饰）和石向南（辛柏青 饰）是一对小冤家夫妻。妻子西凤为使丈夫向南出人头地，夫贵妻荣，煞费苦心设计了一系列改造向南的计划。向南坚持男人的独立人格和尊严，不愿按照西凤为自己设计的人生目标奋斗，执意要走一条自己决定自己命运的人生道路。为之，二人展开了一系列轻松风趣、啼笑皆非、控制与反控制、征服与反征服的龙凤斗。历经重重磨难、打击和挫折后，夫妻二人终于明白了一个道理：婚姻是要靠两个相爱的人互相包容互相尊重共同经营，幸福才会降临。。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs.
