70年代末，老灯手巴勃罗、老华侨金根，带着妻女悼念他们的亲人、中国籍海员陈宏志和斯里兰卡籍海员那雅克。十年动乱后，陈海威来到“上海号”，驶航东南亚。在香港，陈海威和叔父陈宏业回忆30年前，外国海员巴勃罗和那雅克支持中国海员的正义斗争。“上海号”航至鲨鱼岛海域时，灯塔发生故障。医生李琪发现老灯手病情严重，将他运回大船。陈船长发现他就是老友巴勃罗，他们终于重逢。青年水手吴明跃为修灯塔而献身，他的墓碑与陈宏志、那雅克的墓碑并列一起，成为国际海员友谊的象征。。午夜时分，一辆出租车驶进一条胡同里，两女一男三名乘客谋财害命勒死女司机之后却发现女司机的尸体不翼而飞，这时车外出现可怕的鬼影…… 北漂作家徐子怀才不遇，在北京和女友林贞一起生活。为了贴补家用和寻找小说素材，在女友的鼓励下，徐子开始做起了“的哥”。开车的辛苦在徐子眼里倒也无所谓，然而一件接一件的怪事却让徐子摸不着头脑。为了搞清楚那辆诡异的出租车为何凭空消失，里面若隐若现的影子是人是鬼，徐子在女友的陪伴下开始了午夜的追踪。在此期间，与徐子要好的同事积劳成疾，最终心肌梗塞而离开人世。几经波折之后，徐子终于追踪到了那个盗用自己出租车的“鬼影”。然而，让他始料不及的是他还发现另一件事情……。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
