A scientist performing illegal stem cell research is trying to find a cure for cancer. After the transfer of shark cells is made into a human test subject, the ill man gets well again and it looks like the treatment was a success. But the experiment goes wrong, and the man transforms into monster: half-shark & half-human. But the scientist knows how to use this to his advantage...。宫本沙耶香（松下奈绪 饰）在大学时候就与男友福岛庆太（竹财辉之助 饰）相识相恋。如今宫本是某印刷公司的白领，而福岛因崇拜建筑大师高迪而选择在建筑公司上班。福岛鼓励女友，让宫本拾起理想，应聘当杂志编辑。 虽然宫本缺乏经验，但面试官被她的热情感动，于是录用了宫本。新工作对于宫本来说发展顺利，可是这时福岛决定前往西班牙，这对恋人分别踏上了寻找理想的道路。 5年后，宫本也到了婚嫁之年。而宫本在工作上也遇到了挫折，她遭到网上名烟火工匠井上拓己（原田泰造 饰）的拒绝采访。这时候宫本的母亲也病倒了，遭到双重打击的宫本沮丧不已，她决定到西班牙散心。她到了与福岛有着共同回忆的地方，而在西班牙，她也遇到了日思夜想的人。。
