战国晚期，秦赵争锋，双雄对峙，至长平之战，秦统一天下初成定局。全剧从惊险刺激的和氏璧完璧归赵入手，推出了蔺相如。通过偷袭石城引出白起。其后渑池斗智，相如拜相，廉颇“负荆请罪”。蔺相如使秦不辱使命，为赵国赢得了休养生息之机。赵括能言善辩，颇得太子青睐，其父赵奢深藏不露，阏与打败秦军名扬天下。秦昭襄王为一统天下而废弃了母舅魏冉的相位，拜范雎为相，远交近攻屡屡奏效。秦国攻陷上党，廉颇拒守，使秦军进退两难。于是范雎买通缪贤，用反间计使赵王走马换将，启用了空谈兵法，毫无实战经验的赵括。白起分兵击破赵括，一夜坑杀赵国战俘四十多万。赵国震撼，蔺相如虽被罢相却挺身而出，使苏代游说范雎，智退秦兵。白起功败垂成，怒懑而归。秦王醒悟后又发兵攻赵，赵国已然众志成城，誓守都城。秦师久攻不胜，白起又不肯领兵，加之范雎和楚姬谗言，秦王大怒，致使白起饮恨而死。蔺相如和廉颇团结一心，秦军败逃，邯郸大捷。长平一役，赵国国力衰竭，元气大伤，邯郸保卫战虽胜，蔺相如却清醒地认识到秦国的统一趋势不可阻挡，果不出其所料，二十七年后，秦王政扫平六国，终于完成先祖秦昭襄王一统天下的夙愿。。St. Jude Square is a neighborhood living in fear and despair. The dueling gangs of local kingpins Dash and Antuan terrorize the streets and the citizens live without a shred of hope... until mysterious stranger Ryan Hong (Cung Le) arrives in town. He begins to play one gang against the other using his unparalleled martial arts skills, and by calling on the teachings of his brilliant mentor Tiano (Jean-Claude Van Damme) to find the strength to battle back. However, just as he begins to bring the community under control, Hong is confronted by Mr. V, the town's ruthless and corrupt police chief.
