民国时期陈家村的“嫁山女”习俗，陈嫣宁因患春病主动成为嫁山女，上山后却发现所谓山神是被锁在山洞的胡康山，他欺骗陈嫣宁，最终陈嫣宁发现真相并逼问姐姐下落。Based on the actual 11-day disappearance of famed mystery writer Agatha Christie in 1926, the film fictionalizes her whereabouts during that time.
