Lonnie, a crop duster pilot, must lead a mismatched group of survivors to escape the deadly zombie horde after an experimental chemical, intended to control the invasive kudzu vine, transforms the citizens of Charleston, MS into zombies.。Robin, a young student, is obsessed with Tanya, his teacher. He then sees Tanya kissing a female student, so he blackmails her. When Robin believes that he is in control, he learns Tanya's dark personality。故事叙述有一位年约十三岁的男孩 Cody，他不但是学校出色的游泳健将，更有一个永远爱他、支持他的家庭，日子过的可说是非常如意，但是不料一切却在他十三岁生日前夕有了变化， Cody 发现他的身体似乎变得有一些不寻常，因为在他碰到水以后，皮肤居然会长起了和鱼一般的鳞片！经过他苦苦询问之下才发现，原来当初他是父母在海岸边捡回的弃婴，并非亲生的。而到后来 Cody 才发现，原来他的亲生母亲是一条美人鱼，所以 Cody 到了青春期才会有这些不同於常人的生理变化，而他的母亲更一直都在海岸边守候，冒著被其他恶人发现追捕的危险，依然希望有天 Cody 能够与她一同重返大海...。
