该片讲述了毛泽东在中南海菊香书屋工作生活时，和他的卫士马仙奇之间的故事。。為了讓本港時裝設計師展示才華，TVB特地製作時裝設計比賽真人騷。十位參賽者從海選突圍，在準決賽各自以環保、中式主題為合作藝員設計兩個作品，角逐五個晉級名額。最後五強接受終極考核，分別以中性、晚裝主題打造兩套戰衣，配對藝員踏上Catwalk舞台顯風采，冠、亞、季軍隨即誕生！主持胡定欣、袁偉豪聯同「星級」評審Walter Ma、蘇永康、梁詠琪、周汶錡、Amanda S.等，見證《剪裁魔法師》之路。。Set immediately after the London bombings in 2005, the series will focus on the manhunt for a group of would-be terrorists and the tragic killing of the innocent Brazillian, after he was mistaken as a suspect.
