欧洲屈指可数的铁路之国德国，线路总长计3万5千公里。 有位日本人来到德国旅行，他是精通并爱好铁路旅行的演员关口知宏先生。对关口来说，这是首次来到德国。 他看到以不可思议的方式运行的列车，无起伏的大平原，德国独特的风景令他感到震撼。在途中结识很多朋友，关口记录下在德国的铁路之旅。 此外，他还尝试用作曲来表达自己对德国的认识及感动。 关口知宏眼中的德国，8天的铁道之旅在继续。。一之濑海（齐藤壮马配音）自幼就非常热爱钢琴这门乐器，是公认的天才钢琴少年。一次偶然中，海在森林里发现了一架废弃的钢琴，只有海能够通过这架钢琴演奏出美妙的音乐。这架特殊的钢琴锻炼了海的演奏技巧，让他获得了和常人比更多的经验。 阿字野壮介（诹访部顺一配音）曾经也是一名天才钢琴师，然而，一场意外的车祸让他不得不告别了自己的职业生涯，对过去耿耿于怀的壮介成为了海的叔父，将自己未能完成的期望寄托在了他的身上。雨宫修平（花江夏树配音）是海宿命般的对手，两人亦敌亦友，互相竞争，齐头并进。。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
