本片源自动画短片《痴鸡小队》，主要讲述了赵宇、夏青、张伟、代小齐四个年轻人因为对电竞的热爱阴差阳错组成“痴鸡小队”，刚刚组建的队伍缺乏默契，历经坎坷，他们开始了全国锦标赛的历程，但是比赛期间对手王龙设计针对他们，他们能否获得冠军也成了未知。。撒丁岛的一个小村庄里，90年代的讽刺节目《Avanzi》的演员们十五年后再次相聚，为了支持当地的渔民重新制作场演出。卡利亚里剧院挤满了观众，疑问在悲喜交替的情绪中不断地出现，演员和观众的角色发生了混淆。。To the outside world looking in, Jack's not well.
